DeskSprite is a desktop pet application for Windows and macOS. A small animated companion lives on your desktop: it reacts to your clicks and drags, follows your cursor, walks around, sits with you during focus sessions, and stays out of the way when you work.
- Built-in pets are free — the app ships with pets that work fully offline.
- The pet shop — browse and claim more pets: free pets install with one click, premium pets are included with membership. Community-made pets are coming soon.
- Membership — a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase unlocks all member pets, with free updates.
- AI customization — upload 1–3 photos of your pet and turn them into your own custom desktop pet.
Our principles
- Your data stays yours — pet configurations and media live in local files on your machine; we only run the account, shop and AI services you actively use.
- Try before commitment — free pets and free content let you experience the product before paying; memberships can be cancelled any time from inside the app.
- Small and honest — we publish what the app does, answer feedback, and keep the shop rules consistent with what you see before you buy.
Who we are
DeskSprite is built and operated by an independent developer as a solo project, started in 2026. There is no company behind it — the project is identified by this site, desksprite.com, and answered by the contact below.
